Nils Grube is urban geographer and investigates touristification processes in inner-urban neighborhoods of berlin. In 2015 he was research fellow at the Georg-Simmel-Center for Metropolitan Studies and is part of the Urban Research Group New Urban Tourism. Besides his research activities he is currently working on questions about sustainable tourism management strategies and develops conflicts reducing measures for the berlin district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg
